I joined the IT department of one of the Independent associated companies in the UK as a Business Support Technician 12 years ago and actually I believe I was meant to be joining the company as initially I had called to cancel the interview. The recruitment consultant convinced me to attend – and I’m so glad they changed my mind. Once I saw the buildings, the working environment and met the people who worked here, I absolutely loved the place!
I graduated from university with a degree in IT and Sociology and held a couple of IT support positions before I joined the Mundipharma network of companies.
In Mundipharma IT Services I am working as the Service Desk Manager, a central role supporting colleagues around the world on a daily basis. It’s very rewarding and I love the challenge. Two days are rarely the same. As clichéd as it sounds, the people and environment make this job for me, and it’s why I’ve been here so long.
Outside of work, I’m a bit of sports geek …I love watching it, talking about it and playing it! When it comes to playing, golf is my main passion. I’ve never had a hole in one so it’s a goal I still want to achieve!
