IT Business Partner
"Diverse environment, different cultures and exciting challenges every day"
I started working for Mundipharma IT Services in January 2014, and initially worked on the Service Desk as a First Line Analyst. I progressed within this team to a Senior First Line Analyst before I joined the IT Business Partner team in October 2015. This is my current role and I am mainly looking after the demand from our customers across Europe.
The decision to join Mundipharma IT Services was actually an easy one for me. From the moment I walked into the building and had my initial job interview, I felt very welcomed by the company and the whole team. I am a professionally trained Chef and started my career when I was 16. I have worked in several restaurants in Austria and Scotland. However, after 6 year of cooking I decided it was time to move one and do something completely different. So I started working for Cisco in Edinburgh and gained some valuable knowledge in IT, which ultimately helped me to get my first job on the Service Desk in Mundipharma IT Services.
The one thing I like most about the work here is the people that I work with within my team and the whole company as such. It’s such a diverse environment and adapting to different cultures and needs of our customers positively challenges me every day. Furthermore, there is a broad variety of projects that I’m involved in which gives me a really great insight in the overall Mundipharma business.
Outside of work I enjoy playing football and watching football (maybe a little bit too much). I also like walking and cycling. But I most enjoy travelling. I recently visited Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, and I have also worked in a Summer Camp for kids in the summer 2009 and 2010 in upstate New York. My visit in New Zealand actually inspired me for my biggest dream: Paragliding over Milford Sound. However, this still needs to wait a little as my next stop on the bucket list is South America.
